Sister sizes are bras that hold the same amount of breast tissue as your current size, just in a different band and cup combination. When you go up a band size, you go down a cup letter — and vice versa. The volume stays the same.

This matters because bra sizes aren't one-size-fits-all. If your usual size is sold out, a sister size can be a perfect substitute. If the band feels too tight but cups fit great, try the next sister size up in band (and down a cup).
