What is a Pomodoro timer?

The Pomodoro Technique is a time management method where you work in 25-minute focused sessions separated by 5-minute breaks. After four sessions you take a longer break of 15-30 minutes. The method was developed by Francesco Cirillo in the late 1980s and is widely used to improve focus and reduce mental fatigue.
